Silver light at Shellharbour
It was a breezy morning at Shellharbour. Took me a while to find a scene, a scene to resonate with me deeply, to fall in love with. But I found it. Red rocks leading the gaze towards two yachts, the light clouds once in a while letting the silver light come through. My main goal was to capture that shimmering lightness, that breezy fleeting feeling. That's why I decided to let the linen canvas "breath". I caressed it lightly just enough to capture the mood. My favourite part are the unexpected "jewel" blobs of paint at the bottom of the canvas.
Comes stretched on wooden bars and framed in a simple floater frame.
